Day 1 Arrival & acclimatisation in Paro

Gentle walks and gear check with your trek leader.

Day 2 Shana to Thangthangkha

Follow the Paro Chhu through blue pine and rhododendron forest.

Day 3 To Jangothang base camp

Emerge above the treeline to the ruined dzong below Jomolhari.

Day 4 Rest & explore

Day hike to the Tsophu twin lakes for reflections of the summit.

Day 5 Over Bhonte La

The trek’s highest pass, then descend to the village of Soe.
